CHP Vice-President In Charge of Foreign Affairs Ünal Çeviköz’s press statement on the occasion of Europe Day, May 9

Today is the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. As an expression of strong ownership of fundamental universal values such as the rule of law, human rights and freedoms, freedom of the press, thought and speech, May 9 is celebrated across all the European countries as “Europe Day”. The Republican People’s Party marks Europe Day as a symbol of the values that we are committed to and firmly and resolutely uphold. RPP undertakes once again to continue working with all of the European countries to preserve these ideals while not letting them undermined.
