Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak has announced Turkey’s Medium-Term Economic Program (OVP), which was renamed as New Economy Program (YEP), revising targets for inflation and growth.

The main theme of the three-year program for the 2019-2021 period is “balancing, discipline and change.”

Albayrak’s speech at the presidential office in the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul started with a 30-minute delay on Sept. 20.
