EU-Turkey: There are certain steps need to be taken by both sides. First of all re-energizing the EU accession is very important. The EU is rightly criticizing Turkey for the violation of fundamental rights, independence of judiciary or media freedom. However the EU is neglecting to see the great tools at its hands; the negotiation chapters. There are EU negotiation chapters in link with these issues (23 & 24) but blocked.
