European Union should restructure its approach to Turkey, its Turkey policy and let’s face the fact that its Turkey policy so far failed. They really need to reinvent it; starting from the negotiation chapters. But of course opening of the chapter is not enough alone. Making Europe’s presence better and stronger in Turkey is important. Turkey’s democrats are feeling lonely -isolated- and those are people who are pro-European, pro-Western, pro-democracy.
